Executive Summary
Inframark submitted the April 2026 monthly report for the Ebensburg water treatment facility. Key operational highlights include:
- Water Production: The plant treated 30,000,000 gallons of reservoir water (averaging 1,000,000 gallons per day).
- Purchased Water: An average of 61,045 gallons per day was purchased from Saltlick and blended into the distribution system.
- Maintenance: Preventative maintenance was performed on blowers for air scourer filters 1, 2, and 3. Oil was changed, belts were replaced, and motors/greased.
- Safety: New safety signs regarding confined spaces and hazardous chemicals were installed. There were no accidents in April; personnel have worked 2,281 days without an injury.
- Events: A tour of the facilities was hosted for the new borough manager and council members on April 9th.
- Inspections: The second quarter filter evaluation for Filter #1 was completed on April 21st in partnership with Water Service Professionals. The filter was found to be in excellent condition.
- Upcoming Work: Inframark is coordinating with Greenland Construction for upper reservoir intake valve repairs and working with Stiffler on the five-year recertification of the risk and resilience assessment.
- Reservoir Status: The upper reservoir water level is currently 2. 5 feet below full pool level.
