Executive Summary of Operations
Inframark submitted the April 2026 monthly report for the Ebensburg wastewater treatment facility. Key operational statistics and maintenance activities included:
- Wastewater Volume: The plant treated a total of 25,542,200 gallons, averaging 851,406 gallons per day.
- Sludge Management: The centrifuge was operated weekly, resulting in 11. 67 tons of dry sludge sent to the landfill.
- Equipment Repairs:
- Process Water Pump #2: Rebuilt with new bearings, mechanical seals, shaft sleeve, and wear rings. Motor bearings were also replaced and load tested.
- UV System: Annual maintenance was performed on the Trojan UV-A side bank (new wipers and fluid installed). A leaking coolant fitting was identified as the root cause of gradual coolant loss; repairs have stabilized levels.
- Centrifuge PLC: The battery died and was replaced; alarms were cleared.
- SBR #2 Air Valve: An actuator motor failure was resolved by installing a spare motor.
- Blower Room: Belts were replaced on the exhaust fan.
- Infrastructure Improvements: Old wiring in the basement was terminated and cleaned where equipment was no longer present. New plumbing was installed for the screw pump water chase, eliminating a 1-inch pipe that previously ran across the basement floor.
