Winter Parking Regulations

  • Status: Enforcement of winter parking regulations is currently relaxed.
  • Reasoning: The previous ordinance (in place since 1994) required alternate side parking and prohibited parking on smaller streets, causing significant inconvenience.
  • New Policy: Regulations will only be enforced when deemed necessary by staff to allow public works crews to clear snow.
  • How to Check Status: Residents can check the borough’s website (www. ebensburgpa. com) or Facebook page for announcements. A recorded message is also available at 472-8780 during business hours.
  • When Restrictions Apply: Regulations will be placed in effect with every forecasted snowfall and remain in effect for several days after to allow crews to clear slush and push snow back from curbs.
  • Important Note: Do not park directly opposite another parked car to allow plows and emergency vehicles to pass.

Council Adopts 2017 Budget

  • Total Budget: $5,568,280. This avoids tax increases for the 7th consecutive year.
