Mayor's Report

• Former Mayor Mike Tsikalas passed away; Mayor Datsko praised his 20+ years of service
• Mayor Datsko announced plans to start an Ebensburg Garden Club and is seeking volunteers

Water/Wastewater Committee

• Inframark reports available for both wastewater and water treatment plants
• Public meeting scheduled for June 6th to discuss High Street Waterline Replacement Project

Recreation Committee

• Meeting between Rotary and Recreation Committee will be scheduled to discuss dog park construction administration

Street Committee

• 2022 Street Paving Project:
  • Cost estimate: $295,150
  • Bid documents being prepared
  • Bids advertised for June 2nd and 9th
  • Bids open June 21, 2022
  • Award date: June 27th Council Meeting

Administration Committee

• Summer Hires ($10.50/hour):
  • Public Works: Ryan Hunt, Tobey Becquet, Gabriel Forst
  • Lifeguards: Maya Sirsikar, Naveen Sirsikar, Gwendalyn Fodor, Kayden Magulick
• Public Works Director Retirement:
  • Position advertised; applications due June 13th
  • Interviews scheduled for following week

General Business

• Principal Financial Stock:
  • Borough owns 456 shares from demutualization of Principal Insurance Company
  • Council approved sale of stock (Motion by Mr. Miller, seconded by Jeff Ball)
  • Resolution #2022-09 passed to authorize Mayor to sign sale documents

  • Memorial Day plans
  • July 4th concert with Johnstown Symphony Orchestra Brass Ensemble

• Recreation Department:
